Dinner is served. Guests have already taken place at the festive table in the light shade of three young oaks. They clink glasses, talk, laugh and eat. Baroque music sounds. The leaves of the herbs in the white tureens and bowls move in the wind. You can see no one.But Sabine Schäfer’s sound composition makes the guests of this dinner audible thus they come to life. At the end of the table is a Starbucks cup. Garden To Go – Coffee to go. Practically, mobile, fast! Drinking coffee is for me but a pleasure! And I want to sit and drink from a cup made of porcelain. 6.4 billion cups are consumed each year in Germany alone for coffee to go, a burden on the people. Food packaging can not be disposed of without further notice. Even compost, produced from the contents of organic waste contains large amounts (legalized) of plastic and foils that are finally placed in the field and therefore the circulation of the food chain. Therefore, eating and drinking out of dinnerware made of porcelain and glass! Ulrich Singer, June 2015
